Tammy & Christian’s Wedding Ceremony at Kissimmee Lakefront
Some weddings remind me exactly why I love what I do.
Tammy and Christian’s wedding ceremony at Kissimmee Lakefront was one of those weddings.
I was there to provide ceremony coverage and capture the moments surrounding their celebration. There weren't a lot of vendors involved, there wasn't an elaborate production, and even their officiant was a family friend.
It was simply Tammy and Christian celebrating their marriage with the people closest to them.
And it was beautiful.
We had a gorgeous cloudy Florida day, and somehow we managed to avoid the rain long enough to capture everything we needed. The clouds gave us beautiful, soft light and created a really peaceful atmosphere around the lakefront.
But more than anything, I remember how happy they were.
They were completely present with each other and with their family and friends. They laughed, they enjoyed themselves, and they weren't caught up in worrying about everything being perfect.
These are my favorite weddings.
The weddings where the couple simply enjoys being together. Where family and friends are genuinely part of the experience. Where the focus isn't on how big or elaborate the wedding is, but on the people who are there and the memories being created.
As a photographer, being trusted to step into a day like that is something I don't take for granted.
There were no other vendors to coordinate with or a huge production happening around them. They simply valued having their memories documented enough to call me and invite me to be there.
And honestly, that means everything to me.
Wedding photography isn't just about creating beautiful images. It's about being present enough to notice the moments that might otherwise be missed—the reactions from family, the laughter between friends, the little interactions before and after the ceremony, and the way two people look at each other when they realize they're officially married.
Those moments only happen once.
I'm honored that Tammy and Christian trusted me to be there and capture their special moment.
