Some Faves
Keeping a proposal secret is always exciting, but this one definitely had my adrenaline going.
The plan was simple: Jezreel and Julia would enjoy dinner together, take a walk along the beach afterward, and when the moment felt right, he would ask one of the biggest questions of his life. My job? Blend in, stay unnoticed, and be ready when everything unfolded.
As they finished dinner and made their way toward the beach, I was already in position pretending to be just another guest enjoying the evening. The weather couldn't have been better. The sun was beginning to set, the ocean provided the perfect backdrop, and everything seemed to line up exactly as planned.
Then came the moment.
Julia had absolutely no idea what was about to happen. The surprise on her face was genuine, emotional, and impossible to fake. Watching everything unfold naturally was one of my favorite parts of the experience. There was nothing overly staged about it. Jezreel proposed in a way that felt true to who they are, and that's what made it so meaningful.
After the excitement settled in and the answer was given, we spent some time capturing portraits along the beach while they soaked in the reality of being newly engaged. The combination of the sunset sky, ocean views, and the excitement they were both feeling created the perfect atmosphere for celebrating such an important milestone.
Proposals happen in a matter of seconds, but those few seconds become memories that last a lifetime. I'm honored I was able to be there to document such a genuine and unforgettable moment for Jezreel and Julia.
