There’s something extra special about photographing a couple at the very venue where they’ll soon say “I do,” and Norm and Genesis’ engagement session at Lavender on the Lake made that even more meaningful. I’ve worked with Norm before, and as always, his great personality made the session feel effortless and fun from the start, while Genesis brought such a genuinely sweet energy that balanced everything perfectly. Bringing their puppy along made the experience even better, adding playful moments and so much personality to the shoot. And the sunset? Absolutely perfect. The golden light over Lavender on the Lake gave us some incredible moments that felt warm, romantic, and timeless. Sessions like this make the anticipation for the wedding day even stronger, and after spending this time with them, I genuinely cannot wait to photograph their wedding this upcoming October.
